WHO WE ARE

The company was incorporated back in 1950 as a generic welding shop under the acronym S.E.A. for "Saldature Elettriche Autogene" (autogenous and electric welding).
The new company soon shifted its area of specialisation to the field of boiler making, concentrating specifically on the fabrication of pressure vessels, providing exactly what the market demanded, time-by-time, by working in a highly artisanal manner.
The firm continued to grow over the years. Despite two moves to new premises in the search for more space, the name S.E.A. was retained although the corporate purpose was changed, with the acronym subsequently denoting "Serbatoi E Autoclavi" (pressure vessels and surge tanks) because in the meantime the company had started to focus on the construction of surge tanks, which are widely used to compensate for low pressure in water mains networks.
In 1968 S.E.A. relocated its headquarters to a new plant at Agrate Brianza. The greater space available in the new premises supported improved logistics and thus higher levels of efficiency, which automatically translated into a more competitive offering on the market.
During the years we have invested heavily in the areas of automation and quality, both aspects that today place S.E.A. at the front of the field in terms of the product development process.
Thanks to this relentless development, in 2008 S.E.A. extended its range of products by starting to manufacture and market air/oil separators, thus covering the full range of market demands.
The ongoing success of our products made it necessary to increase the floor space of the plant on two separate occasions before reaching the current 6500 square metres.
For more than 50 years our company has been operating on the Italian market, but our products have also become well known and valued all over the world, thanks to the constant growth of exports to the main international markets, both directly and indirectly through the exportation of finished compressors by our customers.
S.E.A. is a synonym of product quality and customer satisfaction: both values that make S.E.A. the company of choice in the compressed air equipment market.
